I greatly enjoy knitting child size projects, and this hat was no exception. There is something exciting about seeing a knitting project finished and this one was especially fun because I created the pattern myself. After knitting and re-knitting the top to make it curve just right I finally got to the end of the hat, it was very satisfying.
