"I've always thought my flowers had souls. . . they seem like real people to me. I've seen the roses rubbing their cheeks together as if they loved eachother, and the forget-me-nots are little blue-eyed children, half afraid of rest." 'Lavender and Old Lace' ~Myrtle Reed~

Guess What!?

The Daffodils are coming up and a white crocus has bloomed on the side of the house. Signs of spring are appearing everywhere even though spring itself is six weeks off yet. It's time to start making visits to the botanical garden during the day so that I can revel in the flowers that will be gracing the walkways with their blooms in the weeks to come.
